Joint Forces Secure Strategic Position in Lahj Amid Intensified Airstrikes

Joint Forces have successfully reclaimed a strategic military position in the Al-Madaribah front of Lahj Governorate following decisive clashes with Houthi militia, as coordinated airstrikes targeted insurgent reinforcements across Lahj and the southern and western fronts of Taiz.

Field sources confirmed that the Joint Forces established full control over the Al-Ahnab Al-Abyad mountain in the Al-Madaribah district. The operation followed intense combat that forced Houthi elements to retreat after suffering significant casualties and the destruction of several military vehicles. During the engagement, forces captured a Houthi sniper and seized a 50mm caliber weapon, while specialized sniper units neutralized multiple militants.

Concurrently, aerial operations, including drone strikes, targeted militia concentrations and positions east of Al-Madaribah and Ras Al-Ara. Four precise strikes on the Al-Fasm region and the Al-Abdar mountain bases resulted in the destruction of combat equipment and logistical infrastructure.

In a related development, fighter jets conducted additional sorties this afternoon against Houthi reinforcements in the Al-Hujariyah and Al-Maqatirah fronts. These strikes targeted militia movements in Al-Khabil Al-Yamani, Alqamah, and the vicinity of Jabal Mabdar, while aerial surveillance continued to monitor for further hostile maneuvers.

The command of the Fourth Military Region confirmed the direct destruction of a Houthi military vehicle on the Al-Madaribah-Bab al-Mandab front. Officials stated that field and aerial operations remain ongoing to neutralize threats posed by the militia and to secure the contact lines along the southwestern sector.
